"Read the reviews, and did not disappoint at all. This must be the freshest fish out. The Egg burger was fantastic, esp., all the extras included. The fish was beautiful - fresh and cooked perfectly. The chips were just as we like them - golden on the outside and fluffy in. We will recommend this shop to all who are visiting Whanganui. Many thanks for a wonderful meal and fabulous, friendly service."

"I recently visited Durie Hill Fish and Chip Shop, and I was absolutely blown away! I ordered the fish burger and chips, and they were hands down the best I’ve had in New Zealand—and I’ve had a lot of fish and chips here! The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. The chips were golden and delicious, just the right amount of crunch without being greasy. You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. If you’re craving amazing fish and chips, Durie Hill Fish and Chip Shop is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!"
